In a world of constant distraction and disconnection, many men find themselves longing for deeper meaning and sacred connection. This workshop created space to explore how intentional ritual practices can ground our lives, mark important transitions, and foster authentic connections.

Who is this for?
This workshop and community gathering was designed for men, and those who identify as men, seeking more intentional ways of marking the ordinary and extraordinary moments of life.
Whether participants were new to ritual or looking to deepen existing practices, the experience offered practical tools, empowering stories, and a supportive community to explore this topic with care and compassion.
What to expect
The 2-hour workshop was part teaching, part knowledge sharing, and part storytelling. Megan and Tenneson explored universal elements of ritual design and the role of masculinity in the ceremonial realm.
The optional men-only gathering, guided by Tenneson, created space for questions, reflections, and shared learning so participants could integrate these ideas into daily practice.
Facilitators
Megan Sheldon
Megan Sheldon (she/her) is a cultural mythologist, humanist celebrant, end-of-life doula, and co-founder of Be Ceremonial, the world's first guided ritual and ceremony platform. She is the author of Ritual Without Religion: A Humanist Guide to Creating Secular Ceremonies, and has spent years crafting ceremonies across the life cycle, with a focus on grief and the less visible moments of change and transition.
Tenneson Woolf
Tenneson Woolf is a poet, a coach and a group process facilitator. He is committed to improving collaboration and imagination in groups, teams, communities, and organizations — to help us be in times such as these with consciousness, kindness, and learning. He’s an Art of Hosting Steward, a Flow Game Practitioner, and long time Circle Way Facilitator.
